Kristin Delahunt

Vice President, Destination Services

Kristin Delahunt serves as the overall lead for client services, focusing on building convention attendance and enhancing visitor experience on behalf of Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB).

Delahunt currently serves as advisory council member for Arts & Entertainment Atlanta, advisory board member for Legacy Collective and is an active member of Event Services Professionals Association. She served on Atlanta Basketball Host Committee for NCAA Men’s Final Four in 2007, 2013 and 2020. Delahunt was also a member of planning committees for Super Bowl LIII.  

Delahunt has more than 20 years of experience working in the hospitality industry. She joined ACVB in 2003 as destination services manager and was promoted to assistant director of destination services in 2009 and director of destination services in 2013. Prior to joining ACVB, Delahunt worked with Maritz Travel Company as the senior travel director where she managed logistics of international business group travel, corporate incentive travel and on-site operations for conferences and special events. 

Delahunt is a graduate of University of Kansas where she received bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Latin American studies. She now resides in Decatur with her husband, daughter and two Australian Shepherds. In her spare time, Delahunt enjoys volunteering with Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, hiking, skiing and following Atlanta’s evolving culinary scene.
