2024

FORTH Atlanta

The highly anticipated FORTH Atlanta will open this summer. The $150 million project will include a 196-room luxury boutique hotel, four food and beverage concepts, private event spaces, and a members-only social club.

Motto by Hilton Atlanta Old Fourth Ward

Hilton will debut one of its first micro-hotel brands, Motto, in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. The property will be a part of an $80 million mixed-use project that sits a few blocks from Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail. The hotel will feature 125 rooms, designed to be smaller and more efficient with common areas for guests to engage each another.

National Center for Civil and Human Rights expansion

National Center for Civil and Human Rights is planning to mark its 10th anniversary in 2024 with a major expansion, with the help of one of its original supporters. Philanthropist and business mogul Arthur M. Blank has committed $15 million toward The Center’s $48 million capital campaign that will add two wings to the Downtown museum.

Signia by Hilton Atlanta

Located on Georgia World Congress Center’s campus, Signia by Hilton Atlanta opened January 2024. The 976-room convention center hotel offers both meeting planners and travelers an elevated experience – from chef-driven restaurants to more than 100,000 square feet of event space.

South Downtown

Newport RE has invested more than $100 million in the purchase of 48 historic buildings in downtown Atlanta. This $100 million project aims to revive 48 historic buildings into retail shops, office space and loft apartments while improving walkability.

Underground Atlanta

The 12-acre, four-block historic shopping center in the heart of Downtown will be reimagined as development across the city continues.

Andrew Young International Mall & Terminal

Andrew Young International Mall & Terminal is the latest addition to GWCCA’s connected campus and extends the pedestrian experience from Centennial Olympic Park to Signia by Hilton Atlanta. With its expanded open spaces, seating areas and tiered decks, The Mall creates opportunities for customers and their attendees to enjoy outdoor space close to the interior spaces.

Atlanta BeltLine

Atlanta’s influential paved path continues to expand and offer new locations to explore. Most recently, Atlanta BeltLine Northeast Trail – Segment 2 opened, providing pedestrians and cyclists a safe crossing below 10 lanes of I-85.

Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart

AmericasMart will introduce Atlanta Next a transformation of building and facility improvements to enhance the convention experience of its 7.2 million square foot campus.

Bellyard Hotel

The 161-room Bellyard Hotel provides four varieties of suites and guestrooms. The property is located at The Interlock development on Atlanta’s Westside and features sweeping views of the city skylines.

Chattahoochee Food Works

Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern and Robert Montwaid recently welcomed Atlanta’s new 22,000 square-foot food hall. This upper Westside culinary concept offers guests more than 30 diverse eateries with an eclectic bar and spacious indoor and outdoor seating.

Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta /Element Atlanta Midtown

The 282-room, dual-branded property features four floors under the Marriott Courtyard flag and four floors under the Marriott Element brand. Located adjacent to Fox Theatre, the hotel is home to The Ponce Room Bar & Kitchen.

Element Atlanta Buckhead

Element Atlanta Buckhead marks the debut of the stylish and eco-focused hotel brand in Atlanta. The 164-room property is located in the heart of Buckhead.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown

Atlantic Station has welcomed a 181-key Embassy Suites hotel, featuring 3,000 square feet of meeting space, an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and ground-floor restaurant, Brickstones Kitchen and Bar.

Epicurean Atlanta

Epicurean Atlanta is a food-focused hotel, paying homage to the region and midtown Atlanta’s culinary evolution. The property features the Reverence restaurant, The Office Bar and a culinary theater – a space with stadium seating equipped with monitors to host events featuring cooking techniques, mixology and wine-tasting.

Four Points by Sheraton Atlanta Downtown

Sheraton will launch their 124-room Four Points property in Downtown. The hotel will feature a spacious lobby, full service restaurant and 1,000-square-foot gym. 

Georgia Aquarium expansion

The largest aquarium in the Western hemisphere is even bigger with a redesigned entry and a new gallery featuring sharks. The latest exhibit, Sharks! Predators of the Deep, features 1.2 million gallons of water, offering a new experience for guests and doubles as an event space.

Georgia World Congress Center Exhibit Hall BC

The $55 million expansion project features a new 100,000-square-foot exhibit hall affixed between the convention center’s Buildings B and C, creating over one million square feet of contiguous exhibition space. This new fixed gateway allows the facility to compete for the industry’s most in-demand trade shows, conventions, and expos, while offering its largest annual events to expand as their businesses grows.

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown

Located at West Peachtree and 15th streets, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown offers 186 guest rooms. The 20th floor features an indoor and outdoor rooftop bar and lounge area showcasing skyline views of Midtown.

Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta

Steps away from some of Atlanta’s most upscale shopping is Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta. The 218-room property also provides a restaurant and rooftop bar for scenic views of Buckhead and beyond.

Junction Krog District

Junction Krog District provides 135,000 square feet of office space along Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail. Guests can enjoy access to some of Atlanta’s top restaurants, bars, shops and cafes nearby the development.

Illuminarium Atlanta

Illuminarium Atlanta is an experiential attraction and immersive event space along Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail and was the first of its kind. Situated just south of Ponce City Market, this unique facility offers an outdoor café and nighttime bar experience.

Kimpton Shane Hotel

Kimpton Shane Hotel opened in Midtown as a 12-story boutique property. The 230-guest room property will be located at 17th Street and West Peachtree Street, in the heart of the neighborhood.

Kimpton Sylvan Hotel

Kimpton Sylvan Hotel transformed of a historic 1950s residential building into a boutique 217-room hotel. The property features a ground-floor restaurant and bar, courtyard dining and drinking venue, private pool, rooftop lounge and 3,000-square-feet of meeting and event space.

Margaritaville Vacation Club by Wyndham

Margaritaville Vacation Club by Wyndham will transform Atlanta’s Downtown skyline, offering resort suites and a rooftop bar, situated along Centennial Olympic Park. 

Nobu Hotel Phipps Plaza

Phipps Plaza brings a new hotel, office space and fitness club to the upscale shopping destination. The nearly $200 million project add a 150-room Nobu hotel with a 10,000-square-foot restaurant, featuring Japanese cuisine.

Reverb by Hard Rock Atlanta Downtown

Hard Rock International has opened its first Reverb by Hard Rock hotel on Centennial Olympic Park Drive next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The 200-room hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, rooftop bar and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

Savanna Hall at Zoo Atlanta

Savanna Hall at Zoo Atlanta is a one-of-a-kind event space overlooking the African Savanna exhibit. African elephants and other species roam the habitat offering views from two terraces and a ballroom. 

Scent Discovery – World of Coca-Cola

The new Scent Discovery exhibit at World of Coca-Cola pairs visitors with a Coca-Cola Ambassador to guess the origin of a variety of scents. Guides educate guests on the anatomy of smell – from reception to perception – to determine which aroma profiles and Coca-Cola beverages may become new favorites.

Thompson Buckhead

Located in one of Atlanta’s most stylish neighborhoods, Thompson Buckhead provides 201 guestrooms. The property also features classic Italian-American fare at Dirty Rascal, an indoor/outdoor rooftop bar and lounge and 10,000 square feet of meeting space.

Wylie Hotel

The building housing Wylie Hotel was originally built in the 1920s. The property has brought back the front historic portion of the building into a vibrant neighborhood restaurant and bar, Mrs. P’s Bar & Kitchen. The hotel provides 111 guestrooms in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, steps away from Ponce City Market.
