Atlanta.net now offers visitors an even easier way to plan their Atlanta vacation. Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) has partnered with YourTour, a web application that allows travelers to build customized itineraries online.
“The integration of YourTour to the Atlanta.net site will provide visitors with a streamlined approach for organizing a trip to Atlanta,” said William Pate, president and CEO, Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The abundance of attractions throughout the city can sometimes be overwhelming, and this new technology aims to simplify the process so that travelers can get organized and focus on enjoying their stay.”
The application will enable travelers to build, book and share customized itineraries on social networks and mobile devices. YourTour’s planning technology takes into account factors such as travel time, number of adults and/or children and attractions’ hours of operation to generate personalized suggestions for every type of traveler.
YourTour features approximately 150 points of interest within the city, including major tourist attractions, such as the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola, as well as shopping and recreation hotspots. The application will be accessible through ACVB’s official website, www.atlanta.net.
