ACVB Sets Industry Standards with Customer Service, Creativity and Clout

Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) is closing out its 100th year with honors recognizing both the organization and its staff.

“The honors ACVB received this year reflect the organization’s ongoing dedication to providing exceptional customer service,” said William Pate, president and CEO of ACVB. "We have an exceptionally talented staff and it is exciting to see their hard work being recognized."

Industry Awards: Readers of three top meetings publications recognized ACVB for outstanding customer service. For more than two decades, meeting planners have consistently recognized ACVB for exceeding expectations and setting the gold standard for CVBs.

Campaign Awards: ACVB collaborated with Atlanta’s hospitality industry to create the ATL Files video series, designed to showcase the city’s destination appeal to meeting planners and attendees. The innovative concepts behind ATL Files and the new I AM ATL advertising campaign were recognized by several leading hospitality and marketing associations.

Individual Awards: Throughout the year, hospitality industry publications and organizations recognize ACVB individuals for their talent, hard work and dedication to the hospitality industry.

Celebrating 100 years of hospitality, ACVB is a private, nonprofit organization created to favorably impact the Atlanta economy through conventions and tourism.
