Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) announced several exciting bookings during the first half of 2016 including Super Bowl LIII. ACVB secured 16 new citywide bookings for future years collectively, representing more than 280,000 hotel room nights with an estimated 245,000 attendees.

“Atlanta is an ideal city for meeting planners because of our capability to host large-scale events due to our accessibility, infrastructure and amenities,” said Mark Vaughan, executive vice president and chief sales officer, ACVB. “We have great momentum heading into the second half of the year.”

One of the newest bookings, Hannover Fairs USA and Newcom Media USA will bring the inaugural North American Commercial Vehicle (NACV) Show to Georgia World Congress Center in September 2017 with an anticipated booking of more than 19,000 room nights.

“Atlanta is a great destination for the inaugural NACV Show with its accessibility, hotel availability and compact convention corridor,” said Joe Glionna, president, Newcom Media USA. “ACVB’s willingness to work with us from the onset has made for an easy booking experience.”
