Clown around like a comic
Morning: Play with dolphins at the world’s largest aquarium, Georgia Aquarium. Melissa McCarthy, Rosie O’Donnell, Jason Bateman and Betty White have all participated in the aquarium’s new Dolphin Experience program.
Afternoon: Grab a slice from one of Zagat’s highest-rated pizzerias in the U.S., Antico Pizza Napoletana. Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd have all enjoyed Antico’s pies. Visit Skate Escape Bike Shop afterward to explore Midtown on two wheels like Owen Wilson.
Evening: Feast on upscale Southern fare at one of Atlanta’s most widely acclaimed restaurants, South City Kitchen, where funnymen Robin Williams and Chris Rock were spotted.
Night: Visit Laughing Skull Lounge for professional-grade comedy. Afterward, grab a paddle and a pint at kitschy celebrity-magnet Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium. Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn have all played Ping-Pong at this quirky local favorite.
Explore and eat like a hero
Morning: Follow in the footsteps of Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln on Atlanta Movie Tours’ Big Zombie Tour. Relish visiting the most iconic sites from The Walking Dead and snap a selfie from the Jackson Street Bridge.
Afternoon: Break for a seafood lunch at Lure. Jennifer Lawrence was spotted refueling there while on location for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. After lunch, play Frisbee like Woody Harrelson on the lawn of the city’s centerpiece park, Piedmont Park.
Evening: Dine at STK, self-proclaimed as “not your daddy’s steakhouse.” Known as a local hotspot, this Midtown restaurant has hosted action stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Denzel Washington among many other celebrities.
Night: Hit the dance floor at Vanquish Nightclub where Robert De Niro partied with rapper T.I.
Stroll like a leading lady
Morning: Take a walk down the manicured pathways of the award-winning Atlanta Botanical Garden. Jennifer Garner visited multiple times with her children while filming The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
Afternoon: Lunch at Parish where celebs Eva Longoria, Marisa Tomei and Roselyn Sanchez were spotted. Afterward, head to Buckhead for high-lux treasure hunting at Phipps Plaza where Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian shopped while in town.
